About

A studio that builds staff.

Alpine Rhine is a small, senior studio of operators and engineers. We design autonomous organisations: businesses where the repetitive, judgement-heavy work is held by AI agents, and the people are freed for the work only people can do.

We came to this from running operations, not from selling software — which is why everything we ship is scoped like a hire, priced like a project, and reviewed like an employee.

The name

A river that starts in the mountains.

The Alpine Rhine begins as meltwater in high passes and becomes one of Europe's great working rivers — steady, compounding, useful for centuries. That's the shape of the work we want to do: start precisely, at the source, and build systems whose value compounds long after we've left the room.

How we run
i.

Audit before ambition.

We don't start with what AI could do. We start with where your business bleeds, priced in hours and margin — and let the arithmetic pick the project.

ii.

Staff, not demos.

An agent isn't done when it works once. It's done when it holds a post for months, under review, inside your real systems. That's the bar everything ships against.

iii.

You keep the keys.

Code, prompts, data and runbooks are yours. We'd rather be re-hired for the next leak than lock you into the last one.

The studio

Small by design.

You work with the people who build. No account layer, no handoffs to a delivery team you've never met. The person in your audit sessions is the person tuning your agent six months later.

We take on a handful of residencies at a time. If we're full, we'll tell you when the next slot opens — and the audit can still run in the meantime.

Talk to the people who build.

Thirty minutes, no deck. Bring the process that hurts; we'll bring the questions.
